Shrewsbury Public Library Foundation
The Shrewsbury Pulic LibraryFoundation (SPLF) is an non-profit organization, 501(c)(3) that works in partnership with civic minded individuals, the corporate community and public funders to support and enhance the Shrewsbury Public Library. All gifts made to the foundation are tax deductible to the limit allowed by law.
Why Give
Giving to an endowment fund provides the opportunity to make a lasting gift, and build a permanent and self-sustaining source of funding for the Shrewsbury Public Library. Endowment assets are invested by the Foundation Board of Trustees, and each year or as appropriate, a portion of the value of the fund is paid out to support the Library, with earnings in excess of this distribution remaining in place to build the fund’s capacity. In this way, an endowment fund can grow and provide perpetual support for the library. When you give to the SPL Foundation, you create a permanent legacy of support.
